As you may know, COVID-19 is spreading through different countries including Canada. There is a low risk to those who are healthy, however, it can be serious for those who have underlying health risks. To keep our children and families safe and healthy, The Centre for Child Development is following the latest recommendations from the BC Centre for Disease Control, the Fraser Health Authority, Public Health Agency of Canada, and the World Health Organization.

What is The Centre doing?

  • Increasing our regular cleaning procedures
  • Reminding all about regular handwashing procedures
  • Asking those who are ill to please stay home and contact their doctor or call 8-1-1
  • We will happily reschedule appointments if you, your child, or family members are sick- please call us at 604-584-1361
  • As of March 16, all group sessions will be postponed until further notice

What can you do?

    • We are strongly encouraging all who come to our buildings to:
  • Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water
  • Stay home if you, your child or family members are sick
  • Call 811 or contact your primary healthcare provider if you are experiencing fever, tiredness, and dry cough.

Thank you for helping us keep all our children, families and staff safe and healthy!
