The Child Development Foundation of British Columbia treats their donors’ personal information with respect. We do not rent, sell or trade our mailing lists. Any information provided is used to process donations, keep our donors informed of the activities of The Centre for Child Development and the Foundation, and to ask for continued support in our mission to raise funds for children with special needs to help them reach their potential.

We’re committed to providing our clients with exceptional service. Providing this service involves the collection, use, and disclosure of some personal information. Protecting your personal information by keeping your records safe and secure is one of our highest priorities. Why do we collect your personal information? Knowing more about you allows us to:

  • Understand your medical needs
  • Provide you with the appropriate programs and services
  • Enroll you in a program
  • Meet our legal and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure a high standard of service to our clients

Please note, sometimes we may be required by law to disclose personal information without the consent of the client or legal guardian. For example, when a child or youth is at risk of being hurt, hurting themselves, or when a court requires us to release information.
