Furniture Donation:

Thank You Exan Software!

 

At The Centre, children come first. That’s why we ensure funding is focused on the area of greatest impact: direct services for the children and families we serve.

We sincerely appreciate donations of items from our friends and supporters, and our staff will often “make do” with what we have, creatively fixing and reusing things instead of purchasing new items. Many of our spaces had been “making do” with desks and office furniture donated many years ago, and much of it was definitely showing it’s age.

The Centre for Child Development is incredibly grateful to our friends at Exan Software for an amazing donation of office furniture and supplies, including:

• 28 cubicle workstations
• 2 executive desks
• large boardroom table, whiteboard and storage credenza
• 8 standing desk risers
• 2 square tables
• 28 heavy-duty clear workstation floor mats
• fridge and microwave
• a printer and miscellaneous office supplies
• artwork

This furniture donation has transformed so many of our office spaces, including our Supported Child Development team’s workspace, our Community Resource space, our administration area, and several other office spaces.

We are so grateful to Exan Software for the donation of all of this furniture, to Noel at Exan for all his help organizing and taking furniture apart, to our friends at John Q Moving for their hard work taking apart and setting up all the cubicles and for discounting their services, and to our former Board Director Tony Miles for facilitating the furniture donation from Exan Software.
