The 15th Annual Run, Walk & Roll took place on what must have been one of the hottest days of 2016! On June 5, close to 500 of our closest friends ran, walked and rolled to raise funds for The Centre for Child Development in Surrey. With your help, we were able to raise over $67,000 to support the important programs that help our children and families.
While the temperature soared, our supporters were smiling under the blue skies at Bear Creek Park. The North Surrey Lions served up pancakes and sausages for breakfast. Some of our brand new Surrey Fire Fighter recruits assisted with crafts for the little ones, and balloon animals and face painting delighted children of all ages!
Our participants replenished themselves post-race with wa
ter, fruit and other hot weather favourites provided by CPX Coastal Pacific Express.
